The FFRES Task Force wants to develop a first-of-its-kind tool to map and connect youth groups with municipalities, facilitating a meaningful public engagement of youth in energy communities, renewables and grid development projects.
→ Your role
Preparation phase: the Project Manager will support you in all these steps, including foreseeing the project's development in alignment with EYEN's objectives .
● Initiate and reinforce partnerships with municipalities in Germany, pitch the project and get them interested in participation
● Design workshop agendas and materials for participating municipalities
● Develop interview and survey templates, conduct interviews with participants, gather their feedback, analyse the insights collected from both interviews and workshops and represent municipalities in the process design phase
● Collect background information on pilot region, carry out a gap analysis of needs and ambitions for youth-led organisations and municipalities
Operational phase:
● Team coordination & Internal collaboration: Coordinate team activities while ensuring constant alignment and collaboration with all team members
● Collaborate on the design and development of the mapping tool for the municipalities and youth-led organizations
● Represent the project in external meetings: you are the face of EYEN
→ You are a good fit for this role if you
● Are native German, or are fluent in speaking and presenting in German
● Fluency in English
● Are organised, you respect deadlines and have a professional approach to your work
● Are interested in the energy world, especially in pushing forward youth involvement towards municipalities
● Active socially in their community or municipality.
● Be proactive and take initiative.
● Are able to work in a team and independently
