Communications & Project Management Internship at the European Federation of Education Employers (EFEE) Brussels | Full-time | Start ASAP (ideally 1 March) EFEE is looking for a motivated Communications & Project Management Intern to join its Brussels-based team as soon as possible. This internship offers hands-on experience in European projects, communications, policy-related work and international cooperation in the education sector. The intern will support the implementation and communication of EU-level projects, assist in the organisation of meetings and events across Europe, and contribute to EFEE's external communication activities. About EFEE EFEE is officially recognised by the European Commission as a European social partner representing education employers. EFEE represents more than 60 education employers and providers from 25 European countries, covering all education levels from early childhood education to higher education and research. Its work focuses on key topics such as digital education, sustainability, the attractiveness of the teaching profession, social dialogue and occupational health and safety. More information: Task and Responsibilities Under the supervision of the EFEE Communications Officer and Project Manager, the intern will: Support the dissemination of project activities and outputs through social media and newsletters. Support the organisation of meetings with European project partners (agendas, invitations, minutes, follow-up). Assist with the logistics and preparation of project events (online and in-person). Contribute to project monitoring and reporting, including tracking deliverables and expenses. Tasks may evolve depending on the intern's profile and interests. Practical Details Location: Brussels, Belgium Duration: 3 months to 1 year (depending on availability) Working time: 38 hours/week (hybrid, minimum two office days per week) Availability to travel for project events across Europe is required EFEE covers work-related travel and expenses Start date: as soon as possible, ideally 1 March Funding requirement Applicants must be eligible for external funding such as Erasmus+, Chamber of Commerce mobility grants, European Young Entrepreneurs or Belgian public schemes. Profile and requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (communications, international relations, political science, business administration or similar) Excellent command of English (minimum C1) Knowledge of communication tools (Canva, Wordpress, etc.) Good command of Microsoft 365, especially MS Teams Interest in European projects and education policy Applications are encouraged even if not all criteria are met.
