Your mission:

Are you a commercially driven technical whizz when it comes to printers?

Here at Epson Belgium we are looking for a presales technical specialist to join our Dilbeek based team.

The Pre & Post Sales Technical Specialist is responsible for providing technical sales support to the local sales teams, customers and channel partners. As member of the sales team and of the European service team, you will support and work with business partners, 3rd party software vendors and end-customers. Your expertise is used to determine customer requirements, design complex solutions and advise on Epson's product portfolio.

What you will do:

  • Engage and build relationship with end-customers, channel partners and their technical representatives throughout the whole sales process to understand their business needs and solutions objectives.
  • Develop an understanding of end-customer requirements and formulate a product/system proposal based on the channel partner's sales strategy and product potential. Delivering more value to the end-customers and channel partners
  • Support in the technical part of the negotiation process with the end-customer and external suppliers.
  • In conjunction with the sales team create proposals delivering more value to end-customers through optimally defined solutions.
  • Manage the product inventory to support demos and exhibitions.
  • Provide 1st line troubleshooting to customers and channel partners.
  • Provide an in-depth understanding of new products, software and drivers for the purpose of supporting customers.
  • Demonstrate equipment at sales exhibitions and events.
  • Support local sales team, end-customers and channel partners with product information and updates in line with launch and product life cycle.

What we ask for:

  • Previous presales or technical support experience preferably within the office printing or a similar hardware industry
  • Numerate, analytical and logical approach to problem solving with good communication (verbal and written)
  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English language
  • Ability to communicate on technical and commercial level (verbal and written)
  • Computer literate with knowledge of MS-Windows, Networking, MS-Office
  • 3rd Party driver/software knowledge
  • Good knowledge of Operating Systems (including mobile)
  • Software & Hardware testing
  • Knowledge of drivers and 3rd party print & scan solutions
