Product Owner

We're looking for an experienced
Agile Product Owner
to help drive the delivery of impactful digital solutions within a dynamic, cross-functional environment. In this role, you'll act as the link between business and tech, shaping the product vision, managing the backlog, and ensuring high-quality delivery through Agile practices.

Location
: Brussels (50% on-site / 50% remote)

Languages
: Fluent in English + Dutch or French

Contract
: Freelance or long-term assignment

What are your responsibilities?

• Define and communicate product vision and roadmap
• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements
• Plan and prioritize iterations based on business value
• Own and manage the product backlog and sprint planning
• Ensure quality, consistency, and timely delivery of product features
• Align stakeholders around shared goals and progress
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, demos, retrospectives)
• Make key decisions on delivered functionalities
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and business teams

What profile are we looking for?

• 5+ years of experience as Product Owner or Agile Project Manager
• Solid technical and functional understanding of product development
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum, SAFe…)
• Proven stakeholder management and budget oversight skills
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communicator and team player
• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Bonus: knowledge of fraud detection processes or the bank environment
