Our client is actively seeking a Junior 1st Line Support Engineer to join the team on a full-time, on-site basis in Brussels. This position is ideal for someone with 1+ year of IT experience looking to build their career in technical support and help desk services.
What you will do in this role:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related issues and support requests.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems related to Windows OS, Office 365, printers, and networking.
- Log, prioritise, and track incidents via a ticketing system.
- Escalate more complex issues to the 2nd line support team when necessary.
- Assist with the setup and configuration of new devices and user accounts.
- Ensure high-quality customer service and maintain user satisfaction across the company.
What we expect from you:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar help desk or IT support role.
- Proficient with Windows 10/11, Office 365, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in French and Dutch (C1 level in both).
- A positive attitude and a desire to grow your skills in the IT field.
Location & Work Setup:
- Brussels office
- 5 days on-site (no remote work)
Contract Details:
- Freelance position
- 6-month contract, with potential for extension
- Start date: ASAP
- Based on-site 5 days/week at our client's office in Brussels
