Freelance DotNet Developer – Hybrid, Antwerp, .NET, WCF/SOAP, ASP.NET, T-SQL, AZURE DEVOPS, GIT, AZ-204 or AZ-305

Contract duration: 12 months and extendable

Location: Antwerp 2-3 days onsite

We are looking for a skilled Freelance DotNet Developer to join a hybrid team in Antwerp. This role focuses on developing, deploying, and maintaining robust Windows-based applications and web services in a client-server environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement customized object-oriented applications using C# and .NET technologies.
• Develop and deploy Windows Services and WCF/SOAP-based applications.
• Work with ASP.NET Web Forms, Silverlight with WCF, and Web API for web applications.
• Host web services and applications on IIS 10.
• Analyze, design, and implement relational database models using T-SQL, including stored procedures and SQL functions.
• Understand and work with XML, XSD, WSDL, SOAP, REST, and JSON for data exchange.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and GIT for source control.
• Set up automation testing using SoapUI and understand basic unit testing requirements.
• Create stubs and drivers as needed for testing and integration.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Windows Service development in C#, WCF/SOAP, and T-SQL.
• Basic knowledge of COM+, Windows services, and client-server architecture.
• Familiarity with web technologies including ASP.NET Web Forms, Silverlight with WCF, and Web API.
• Experience hosting applications in IIS 10.
• Practical knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines and GIT source control.
• Understanding of XML, XSD, WSDL, SOAP, REST, and JSON.
• Basic understanding of unit testing, stubs, and drivers.
• Azure certifications AZ-204 or AZ-305 are a plus.
