DevOps Engineer
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a major client in the Energy industry. As a DevOps Engineer, you act as the vital bridge between development and operations, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and efficient across all environments. Your focus is on streamlining workflows, automating key processes, and continuously improving deployment speed and stability.
In this position, you will:
Design, create, and manage environments that enable faster, more reliable, and consistent application deployments
Implement and optimise processes for application development, testing, and deployment
Monitor system health, analysing changes in data volumes and performance
Drive continuous integration through automated source code integration systems (e.g. Git)
Set up and maintain performance monitoring for production applications
Manage application versions and configurations in a structured and controlled way
Embed security practices throughout the application lifecycle, identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities early
You are a strong match if you bring:
At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role
A broad understanding of DevOps tools and environments (CI/CD, cloud platforms, Jira/Confluence, etc.)
Hands-on experience with technologies such as Linux, Docker, Elasticsearch, ActiveMQ, Nginx, AWS, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and C#/.NET
Experience with cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure), Elastic Stack, , ReactJS/React Native, Python, and REST APIs
The ability to remain calm under pressure, with a strong technical curiosity and \"geek spirit\"
An independent yet collaborative mindset and an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving
Fluency in English and French; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage
