The Role

As a Senior Full-stack TypeScript Engineer, you will be the backbone of our development team, driving the creation and evolution of our applications from concept to deployment. You will directly report to the Co-Founder CTO of the Company – an AI veteran with 17 years of experience.

This role is for the doers that realize their dreams, those who believe that technology can change the world and are ready to make it happen. Even if that means starting from scratch and figuring out everything yourself from the beginning to the end. We are looking for engineers that want to go the extra (s)mile to make sure we deliver the AI intelligence our legal customers are craving for. Of course, you will receive daily guidance & coaching from our CTO and your colleagues to make sure you are set up for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and frameworks such as React and NextJS.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Embrace and solve challenges, taking lessons from failures and successes alike.
• Contribute to a positive and empowering company culture by sharing knowledge, participating in peer-reviews, and exhibiting a growth mindset.
• Interact with our customers to solve the problems they face.

Must-have Qualifications:

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
• Senior level experience with building web apps in React with a NodeJS backend.
• Medior level experience with data processing pipelines.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and NextJS.
• Medior level experience with setting up authorization for integrations using oauth.
• Medior level experience with MongoDB, Redis and SQL like databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to push the boundaries of what's possible.
• Fluent in verbal and written communication in English.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with the OpenAI API or Large Language Models.
• Experience in legal and/or LegalTech.
• Knowledge of DevOps: we run on Railway and Trigger.dev.
• Experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions.
• Speaking multiple languages.
• You bring diversity (in the broadest sense) to the team.
