Senior System Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Post-Sales Engineer with strong experience in virtualization, storage, networking and backup solutions to join our technical team. This role blends presales consultancy and post-sales implementation, requiring a deep understanding of infrastructure technologies and client-facing experience. You will collaborate closely with sales, solution architects, and project teams to design, implement, and support enterprise-grade IT infrastructure projects for our clients. This includes defining technical solutions during the presales cycle and ensuring successful implementation post-sale.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Sales Support:

• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements related to virtualization, storage, and data protection needs.
• Design tailored infrastructure solutions involving technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, SAN/NAS storage systems, and enterprise backup platforms.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, solution architectures, and proposals.
• Participate in RFP/RFI responses, creating technical content aligned with customer expectations.
• Collaborate with solution architects and sales to scope and cost solutions accurately.

Post-Sales Implementation:

• Lead or support the deployment and configuration of virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, other hypervisor…).
• Implement storage solutions (e.g., Dell, HPE, PureStorage, Huaweï, IBM, …) and configure SAN/NAS environments.
• Deploy and integrate backup, high-availability and disaster recovery systems.
• Conduct system testing, validation, and user acceptance procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during deployment and handover phases.
• Provide documentation and technical training to clients or internal teams post-implementation.

Collaboration & Project Support:

• Work with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including designs, configurations, and change logs.
• Provide post-deployment support, tuning, and knowledge transfer to client IT teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with a focus on virtualization, storage, and backup.
• Good knowledge in areas such as networking, servers, storage, cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure), virtualization (e.g., VMware), security, and enterprise software
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Virtualization: VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, Hyper-V, RedHat...
• Storage Solutions: SAN, NAS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, solutions from vendors like e.g., Dell, HPE, PureStorage, Huaweï, IBM…
• Networking knowledge: Dell, Fortinet, Cisco, HPE, … for implementation of infra structure projects of the Infra Team.
• Cloud computing: Azure, AWS, …
• Backup Solutions: Veeam Backup & Replication, DELL Networker, DELL Power Protect Data Manager, IBM Storage Protect, …
• Solid understanding of high availability, failover, and disaster recovery planning.
• Comfortable working in both on-premise and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and client engagements simultaneously.

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
