Senior Application Engineer (MOM / CPMS)

Location: Antwerp (4 days on-site, 1 day remote)

Rate: €500 per day

Contract: 12 months

Interview & Start: ASAP

Languages: Dutch & English (mandatory)

We are looking for a Senior Application Engineer with strong CPMS expertise to drive digital transformation within industrial production environments. This is a hands-on role combining deep software engineering experience with strong analytical capability and customer-facing delivery.

You will translate business and production needs into effective automation solutions within a Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) environment.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of digital production processes within CPMS based on customer requirements and functional analyses
• Configuration and delivery of MOM systems
• Performing AS-IS / TO-BE analyses, GAP analyses, ROI assessments and re-engineering
• Leading and executing functional testing with stakeholders
• Creating analysis, design and test documentation
• Coaching colleagues during software development
• Supporting project planning and coordination activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a software engineering role
• Strong experience analysing customer needs and translating them into technical solutions
• Experience within industrial or manufacturing environments
• CPMS experience is mandatory
• Proactive, solution-oriented and customer-focused mindset
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Driver’s license B
• Fluent in Dutch and English

Technical Skills

Required:

• Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
• GIT (version control)

Nice to have:

• Project management experience
• HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
• C#
• Industrial communication protocols (OPC, MQTT)
• Knowledge of OEE, SPC, CIL, CIP, Lean Manufacturing principles
• Data warehousing, ETL processes and data analysis
