EM&E Group, a leading company in the aerospace and defence sector, is expanding its team in Brussels. We are seeking a highly motivated intern to support our EU & NATO Business Development activities. Main responsibilities include:

• Monitor and analyse EU and NATO funding programmes and other relevant instruments to identify strategic opportunities aligned with the company's portfolio.
• Support the preparation and submission of competitive proposals, including administrative documentation, partner coordination, and contribution to technical and commercial sections.
• Assist in the identification, mapping and engagement of potential partners (industry, SMEs, research centres and universities) to build strong international consortia.
• Support negotiations and coordination activities with consortium partners during proposal preparation phases.
• Maintain internal tracking tools for opportunities, deadlines, stakeholder mapping and pipeline management.
• Contribute to the preparation of concept notes, capability presentations, and positioning papers for upcoming calls.
• Contribute to market and stakeholder intelligence activities related to EU defence and security funding priorities.
• Provide general support to the Business Development team in strategic meetings, industry events and institutional engagements in Brussels.

Candidate Profile:

• Final-year student in International Relations, Political Science, Law, Business Administration, European Studies, Defence Studies, or a related field.
• Strong interest in EU institutions, NATO structures, defence programmes, and the aerospace industry.
• High level of English (C1). French, German, or any third language is considered a strong plus.
• Analytical, organised, proactive, and able to work independently.

Duration & Availability:

• Start date: immediate or within the next month.
• Duration: 1 full year.
• Full-time internship.
