Role Description
At Elite Smart Innovations, we are growing and seeking an Automation & Smart Home Systems Technician for a full-time, on-site role in San Juan. You will be responsible for implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining residential and commercial automation systems, including lighting, climate control, security, audio/video, and networks. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting installations, preventive maintenance, technical evaluations, and offering personalized customer support to ensure the seamless integration of tailored smart home technologies.
Qualifications
Knowledge of smart home technologies and system operations
Knowledge of platforms such as: Savant, Crestron, Control4, Lutron, Crestron, Sonos (or similar).
Basic-to-Intermediate networking knowledge (routers, switches, IP, Wi-Fi).
Strong skills in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance
Understanding of Electricity principles and practical application
Excellent problem-solving and technical skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Experience in high-end or customized system installations is a plus
Technical certifications or a degree in a relevant field are preferred
Ability to work effectively on-site as part of a team in a client-focused environment
Experience programming/configuring scenes and automations, is a plus.
Knowledge of multi-room audio, cameras (CCTV), alarms, and access control is a plus.
Valid driver's license.
