Trade Support Analyst


Our client in the banking sector is currently seeking a Trade Support Analyst to join their investment operations team.



Key Responsibilities

Trade Processing and Validation:

  • Monitor and support the timely booking and validation of trades across multiple asset classes.
  • Reconcile trade details between internal systems, resolving discrepancies in coordination with front office teams.
  • Ensure all trade updates and confirmations are processed within required deadlines.


System and Platform Support:

  • Provide first-line support for trading platforms and systems.
  • Troubleshoot user issues related to trade booking and system functionality.
  • Escalate technical problems and follow up on solutions.


Stakeholder Communication and Issue Resolution:

  • Serve as a point of contact for trade-related inquiries from internal stakeholders and external counterparties.
  • Act as an intermediary to resolve trade mismatches, such as fee differences or booking errors.
  • Ensure clear and timely communication to facilitate prompt resolution of issues.


Cross-Team Coordination and Support:

  • Collaborate with various teams involved in trade lifecycle management.
  • Support internal projects and process changes linked to new business or operational requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team.



Profile:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in trade support, middle office, or financial operations within banking or asset management
  • Familiar with trade lifecycle processes and operational risk awareness
  • Experience in areas such as reconciliation, collateral, or portfolio servicing is a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of trading platforms and booking systems; confident troubleshooting user issues
  • Skilled in Excel and comfortable working with data validation and controls
  • Excellent communication skills; able to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing deadlines under pressure
  • Fluent in English and French and/or Dutch
