Lead Mechanical Engineer - Renewables

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer specialized in Renewables, on behalf of our multinational client based in Belgium.

Location: Belgium (Hybrid – 3 days per week on site).

Responsibilities

• Mechanical Engineer for executing multiple medium size projects
• The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for design, basic and detailed engineering of the mechanical skids and other mechanical solutions. Project specific as well as support for standardization process.
• Supporting the development of FDS.
• Monitoring and supervising sub suppliers, performing test, FAT, commissioning and start up.
• Ensure compliances to applicable codes and standards and adherence to QMS. High focus on ON time delivery, first time right and customer satisfaction.
• Support/execute Commissioning & start up.

Qualification:

• AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D
• Proven experience in designing skid based units for natural gas or liquid
• Proven knowledge about mechanical and piping design codes and standards like ASME, EN, PED, etc
• Language skills: Dutch & English fluent. French and German appreciated
