PMO (Financial Sector)


PMO Digitribe is looking for a PMO to support our highly attractive client within the financial sector located in central Brussels. We are currently looking for a Project Manager Officer. By joining you will facilitate a large range of support services that the team is providing to various stakeholders (including Roadmap Managers/Tribe leads, Department heads, Division heads) not only within the division but also to the full IT organisation when required. You will act as a referent to assist the Project Leader, Epic Delivery owners and plan owners with the existing Project Management toolsets and future evolution. Mission Act as a central repository for the programme / release information and provide intelligent reporting to support the programme. Act as a central repository for project / release information and provide intelligent reporting to support departmental, divisional objectives and IT objectives The provision of day-to-day support to project and maintenance project contributors in project planning, reporting and monitoring, including also day-to-day specific/ad-hoc support Support the IT transformation through active participation within various streams (IT transformation initiatives, practices harmonization, project mgt & resource management tooling,...) The role Assisting the IT portfolio and roadmap managers providing necessary strategic support in the following areas: portfolio preparation, budget monitoring & tracking demand capacity analysis, steering committee preparations Delivering the required analysis, monitoring and support services to a large organisation Collecting and collating data on progress measures, with a specific focus on the financial progress versus forecasts Analysing data and presenting conclusions to IT roadmap managers Providing regular reports with narrative for IT roadmap managers Recommending corrective action where necessary Assisting the IT roadmap managers in the development of long-range financial forecasts and related budgets Assisting the Project Leaders and providing necessary support for questions related to project financials and project tooling Drafting new and improving existing project management office policies and processes and support the implementation of new project tools Your profile Good understanding of project life cycle (Agile and Waterfall methodology) and governance Good understanding of project status reporting Good understanding of project/program financials Good written and verbal communication skills Good analytical skills Ability to handle the tasks independently Strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills Good knowledge of project tools and office suite (Excel, PowerBI, ...) Ability to maintain the high-level macroplan prior to the start of the initiatives when this is picked up by the Pls
