As a Technical and Scientific Expert you provide exceptional technical support to both internal business operations and external customers, encompassing implementing technical strategies, actively listening to customer needs, delivering timely solutions, serving as a knowledge hub for company products and services, and demonstrating industry-leading technical expertise through various channels and interactions.

Delivering excellent Technical Support to both the business and the external customer

• Implement the technical strategy of the assigned accounts
• Listen to the customer and the business to collect pertinent technical information
• Select, translate, and transfer relevant information to the business in the pursuit of tactical andstrategic goals
• Answer technical enquiries and bring solutions in a timely manner
• Be proactive and forward-looking in initiating projects
• Act as a knowledge center for Datwyler Healthcare Solutions products, processes andservices – and continually improve our knowledge
• Transfer this knowledge to customers in high quality reports and documents
• Act as the interface between the external customer and internal technical functions

Leading and/or supporting Customer Project Management

• Act as Voice of the Customer in business strategic projects
• Act as project leader in customer specific projects

Demonstrating industry-leading Technical Expertise inside and outside the organization

• Bring integrity, accuracy, experience, and competence: "We sell confidence"
• Build Datwyler HS technical credibility internally and externally through:
• Delivering tech days, conference presentations, customer webinars and trainings, andinternal trainings
• Building a technical knowledge base through industry associations and attending externalconferences and trainings
• Acting as a networker to build technical relationships at our customers and in the pharmaindustry
• Adapt flexibly to differing customer situations, profiles, and expectations
• Collect information (including competitor information) at events and customer interactions tosupport product and commercial strategy
• Be aligned with Business Strategy, Product Strategy and Customer Strategy

Location and Travel

This position offers remote work flexibility (2 days/week), combined with regular presence at our office in Alken, Belgium (3 days/week). Approximately 20–30% travel is required, including attendance at conferences, trade shows, and customer visits. Candidates should be comfortable with both domestic and international travel and have an affinity for attending targeted events to expand their network within the industry.

• A Master's Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy or equivalent
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Thorough understanding and technical knowledge (products, processes, materials) of the assigned subject area
• Good knowledge of domain specific legislation, standards, rules and procedures
• Curiosity and a proactive, can-do attitude
• Fluent communication skills, verbal and written in English, any other language is a plus
• Willingness to travel
