Data Governance / Data sharing Expert

Introduction

We are looking for an experienced professional to support a major data integration and modernization program within the public health sector. A key challenge lies in the integration, valorization, and exchange of health data with both regional and federal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication in both directions. With a strong mix of strategic, architectural, and operational expertise, you will advise on and help establish well-governed data exchange practices while managing projects and programs in this critical domain.

Tasks

• Advise on and help establish data governance frameworks and data exchange mechanisms.
• Manage and coordinate projects and programs related to health data integration.
• Facilitate and lead strategic meetings with both business and IT stakeholders.
• Translate complex IT concepts into business terms and vice versa.
• Support the integration and valorization of health data across different stakeholders.
• Act as mediator and advisor across multiple levels: Business, IT, and Executive (CTO/Director level).

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in relevant roles.
• University degree (or equivalent).
• Proven expertise in data governance and data exchange architectures.
• Experience as a Project Manager and/or Data Architect.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to operate at multiple levels: business, technical, and executive.
• Bilingual proficiency (FR & NL at C1 level minimum).

This is a long-term engagement (initial 1-year contract, 200 days) with the possibility of extension. The role includes a mix of on-site presence (3 days) and remote work (2 days).
