Business Development Manager

Role Summary:
A global logistics company is looking for a Business Development Manager with expertise in project logistics to help grow its operations across the Benelux, France and Switzerland . The role involves working with large and complex transport projects, including heavy and oversized cargo particularly for large-scale infrastructure, oil & gas, and reconstruction projects.

Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement business plans across European markets
* Manage new client outreach, contract discussions, and existing accounts
* Work with operations and engineering teams to create custom logistics solutions
* Find and follow up on new project opportunities in energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors
* Represent the company in meetings, events, and tender processes
* Keep track of market trends and competitor activity to support planning

What You'll Need:
* At least 7 years of experience in project logistics, heavy transport, or freight forwarding
* Experience in commercial roles with budget responsibility
* Good understanding of logistics rules and market conditions in Europe
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage complex logistics projects across multiple countries
* Fluent in English; Dutch and French are a strong advantage
* Willing to travel across Europe when needed
