Production Manager

Curana is a leading developer and manufacturer of high-end bike accessories, known for its strong focus on innovation, design, and sustainability. We operate in a B2B environment, collaborating with leading EU brands to deliver premium solutions to the cycling industry. Following our recent acquisition by a Belgian private equity firm, Curana is entering an exciting new growth phase. We are expanding production at our Bruges site (Ardooie), with a strategic emphasis on new product development and the implementation of lean manufacturing principles.

As Production Manager, you will be at the core of this transformation. In close collaboration with the Head of Operations, you will lead a development project supported by a significant investment plan. The main objective is to achieve a minimum 30% increase in production output within two years.

This role is ideal for someone with solid experience in production environments and the hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset to drive change and make a tangible impact in a human-sized, agile organization.

• Lead and develop the production team
• Monitor and report on performance metrics
• Optimize operational processes and implement effective tools
• Provide technical support and ensure equipment reliability
• Manage improvement and expansion projects
• Uphold safety standards and compliance
• Coordinate with supporting departments

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar production leadership role
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Technically educated or a strong affinity with technology
• Practical, no-nonsense approach to challenges
• Able to work autonomously and bring structure to operations
• Adaptable to change and transformation
• Resilient under pressure and effective in crisis situations
• Hands-on mentality: Willing to step in and support the team when needed
