What You'll Do
Hunt for vulnerabilities: Conduct in-depth assessments using security tools to discover weaknesses before attackers do.
Assess and prioritize risks: Identify critical security gaps, propose actionable remediation strategies, and track progress to resolution.
Deliver insights with impact: Prepare detailed reports and confidently present findings to technical teams and senior stakeholders.
Collaborate across teams: Work closely with security architects, engineers, and IT teams to embed security best practices into daily operations.
Drive remediation efforts: Oversee and validate vulnerability fixes to ensure compliance and long-term risk reduction.
What You Bring
Experience with vulnerability management tools like Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7
An understanding of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO 27001)
Analytical skills to assess vulnerabilities and recommend effective remediation
Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for cybersecurity
What You Bring to the Team
Your Background & Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Interest: You are interested in Cybersecurity and preferably in vulnerability management, asset management, or risk management.
Certifications: Bonus points if you hold CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or other relevant security certs.
Your Technical Toolkit:
Vulnerability Management Expertise – Potential hands-on experience with tools like Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7, etc.
Data-Driven Mindset – Strong skills in Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, or similar tools to transform raw security data into actionable insights.
Security Architecture Knowledge – Basic understanding of network security, system hardening, application security, and databases.
Automation & Scripting – Experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages to streamline security processes.
