SharePoint Administrator (European Commission)

For one of our clients at the European Commission, we are currently looking for a Sharepoint Administrator.


Description of tasks


  • Design, implement, and maintain SharePoint 2016/2019 forms to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Perform installation, configuration, and upgrades of SharePoint environments and related components.
  • Manage and monitor Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal integration with SharePoint.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, configuration management, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of SharePoint environments by implementing best practices, including security infrastructure and protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related performance, connectivity, and access issues.
  • Provide technical support, documentation, and training to end-users and stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with Microsoft best practices, patches, and updates to ensure system stability and security.


Knowledge and skills


  • Proven experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of SharePoint 2016/2019 farms.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration tasks.
  • Understanding of network security, authentication mechanisms, and security protocols.
  • Experience with SharePoint site collection administration, user permissions, and content management.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server administration related to SharePoint databases.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve system issues efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
