Scrum Master

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in Java development to lead and support Agile teams delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will combine solid Scrum expertise with hands-on Java experience to effectively facilitate the Agile process, remove impediments, and foster a collaborative, continuous improvement culture.

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) to ensure productive team collaboration.

• Work closely with Product Owners to manage product backlog and prioritize user stories.

• Coach and mentor the Agile teams on Scrum best practices and Agile mindset.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and business stakeholders.

• Identify and remove impediments blocking team progress.

• Track and communicate team progress using Agile metrics and reporting tools.

• Promote continuous improvement and foster a culture of high performance.

• Leverage Java development experience to understand technical challenges and support the team effectively.

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, timely software increments.

• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.

• Strong hands-on Java development background (experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, or related frameworks).

• Deep understanding of Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum and Kanban.

• Experience with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.

• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple teams or projects simultaneously.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remove impediments.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification preferred.

• Experience working in large-scale Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, etc.).

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience with automated testing and quality assurance processes.

• Ability to mentor junior Scrum Masters or Agile team members.
