Network & Security Consultant/architect (SDN/VPC) - remote working allowed (EU) Contract: 6-month temporary assignment Start: ASAP, or notice considered Client location: Luxembourg Work mode: remote working in EU (EU Nationals only) Languages: English *urgent 6 month freelance contract - role hiring now!* We are urgently seeking an experienced Network & Security specialist who has proven capabilities in the redesign of key networking and security layers. The objective is to build a VPC (Virtual Private Cloud) like networking and security model independent from Broadcom technologies, while ensuring service continuity and extending the architecture to new platforms. Mission The consultant will act as a reference architect responsible for Redesigning the existing SDN architecture (currently VMware/NSX-based) Defining a Broadcom-independent target architecture Designing a VPC-like networking and security model Extending the architecture to: Nutanix, OpenShift, Kubernetes/container platforms, Database platforms Ensuring end-to-end consistency across networking, security, container platforms, application workloads, data platforms Contributing to the definition and delivery of an MVP within 6 months Soft skills Strong architectural structuring and design mindset Ability to drive and influence technical decisions Clear communication with multi-stakeholder environments Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach Autonomy and ownership mindset Ability to operate in high-pressure, high-urgency contexts Please send your CV or call javaid to discuss further.
