Location: Brussels - Hybrid (2 days onsite/week)


Duration: 12 Months (Extension Possible)

For a major public sector digital programme in Brussels, we are looking for a Senior Data Science Consultant with strong web development expertise to join a high-impact AI-focused initiative.


You will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering innovative AI-driven solutions that integrate data science, APIs, and modern web technologies.


Role Overview


You will:



Design and develop AI-driven solutions

Apply advanced data science methodologies in real-world public sector use cases

Contribute to AI model development and integration

Develop and maintain modern web applications

Work with APIs and AI services to build scalable solutions

Collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders



Required Skills & Experience



Senior-level experience in Data Science

Strong background in AI development

Solid JavaScript web development experience

Next.js preferred

React accepted as alternative

Experience working with APIs and AI integrations

Bachelor's degree (minimum)

Fluent in English + French or Dutch (at least one national language required)



Location & Working Model



Brussels (WTC III)

Hybrid: 2 days onsite per week (more depending on team needs)
