Datasphere Data Engineer

Job description :

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines in SAP Datasphere.
• Ensure smooth and optimized integration of SAP S/4HANA data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to expose datasets to Databricks and Power BI.
• Optimize data models for analytics and reporting use cases.
• Participate in data validation, lineage tracking, and quality assurance.
• Work closely with Business Process Owners and fellow Data Engineers to ensure reliable and actionable data.

• Maintain high-quality, clean, and reusable data assets.

• Work environment: Hybrid team environment, working closely with business and technical stakeholders.

• Work schedule: Day work.

• Remote work: Hybrid

• Technical environment: SAP Datasphere, SAP S/4HANA, Databricks, Power BI, cloud environments (Azure preferred), optional: Docker/Kubernetes.

• Expected deliverables: Data pipelines, optimized data models, validated datasets, analytics-ready data for reporting platforms.

• Location: Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium

Required profile:

You have proven experience as a Data Engineer with hands-on expertise in SAP Datasphere.

You are passionate about data integration and analytics, and have experience bridging technical and business needs in enterprise environments.

In order to carry out this assignment successfully, you must be proficient in:

• Technologies: SAP Datasphere, SAP S/4HANA, Databricks, Power BI, cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

• Methodologies: Data modeling, ETL/ELT, data validation and quality assurance, collaborative Agile practices.

• Business knowledge: Enterprise data management, SAP integration for analytics and reporting.
