Accounting Services Consultant (Contract)

Location: Brussels (Hybrid)

Contract duration: Until 31 December

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Accounting Services Consultant to join our client that is in Brussels

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement efficient workflows for integrating payroll data from our software into accounting systems.
• Optimize accounting output documents such as journal entries and export files.
• Support the setup and improvement of automated integrations with accounting software
• Assist in building reports and dashboards that provide customer-oriented insights
• Advise clients on setting up, adjusting, or optimizing their chart of accounts within the context of our applications.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (payroll administration, software development, IT, and customer teams) to ensure a coherent and scalable service offering.
• Act as a subject-matter expert and key point of contact for this new accounting service

Experience:

• Background in accounting, payroll, or finance, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Good understanding of payroll administration and charts of accounts.
• Experience with accounting software and/or system integrations is a strong asset.
• Strong process-oriented and analytical mindset.
• Able to work autonomously and take ownership of initiatives.
• Clear and professional communicator, both with clients and internal teams
• Fluent in spoken and written Dutch and French
