Mission Context
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer (Expert Level) to support enterprise-wide data initiatives within a banking environment.
As a key contributor, you will design, build, and industrialize robust data solutions that enable reporting, analytics, and business applications. You will ensure secure, scalable, and high-quality data assets that maximize productivity for data consumers across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and analyze business requirements using structured methodologies
Translate business needs into efficient and scalable data solutions
Design data flows, data models (logical & physical), and data stores (DWH, datamarts, datasets)
Identify and integrate \"golden sources\" of data
Define business and technical integration rules
Prototype solutions to support business validation
Develop and industrialize data pipelines and delivery processes
Ensure enterprise-wide usability and reusability of data assets
Contribute to data governance and data quality improvements
Required Experience & Skills
Mandatory Technical Skills
SAS Enterprise Guide (SAS EG)
SQL
Oracle
Minimum 6 years of experience in Data Analytics
Prior experience in banking sector
Experience in data-related project management
Preferred Technical Skills
Python
Power BI
Tableau
Excel
SharePoint
Education
Master's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar)
PhD is a strong advantage
Candidates with strong analytics experience from other backgrounds are welcome
Language Requirements
Dutch (Native) OR French (Native)
English is a strong plus
