Brand Manager – BENELUX


About the Role

We are looking for a Brand Manager – BENELUX to lead the implementation of Changan’s brand and marketing activities across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. This role requires a strong balance of strategic alignment and local execution. You’ll work closely with the European team in Munich, regional partners, and agencies to ensure all brand, communication, and digital activities reflect our pan-European strategy while resonating in each local market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Ownership: Drive Changan’s brand visibility and preference across BENELUX, tailoring marketing campaigns and content to regional needs while staying true to central brand direction.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure all local marketing initiatives reflect the overarching Changan Europe brand strategy, including tone of voice, messaging hierarchy, and campaign rollouts.
  • Website Management: Oversee the BENELUX website presence, ensuring accurate, timely, and localized content. Collaborate with the central digital team to ensure consistency and UX optimization.
  • Agency Management: Oversee and coordinate external agency partners to ensure high-quality, consistent brand execution across all channels. Where needed, establish a local agency hub to support market-specific needs, always aligned with Changan Europe’s overall strategy, processes, and creative direction.
  • Retail Partner Management: Collaborate closely with local retail partners and dealerships to support hyper-local marketing activations. Ensure brand consistency at the point of sale, align on launch activities, and drive engagement through tailored local initiatives.
  • Localization: Adapt central brand and campaign assets to local market requirements across social media, events, PR, CRM, and retail materials.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and track KPIs for brand awareness, campaign performance, website engagement, and media effectiveness. Deliver actionable insights and regular reporting.
  • Budget & ROI Responsibility: Own the BENELUX marketing budget. Plan, allocate, and manage local spend efficiently — with a clear focus on maximizing ROI, ensuring transparency, and continuously optimizing the marketing and media mix based on performance data and centrally defined benchmarks.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with central product, PR, digital, and retail marketing teams to ensure coordinated execution of product launches, digital readiness, and retail activation.

What You Bring


  • 5+ years of experience in brand, marketing, or digital roles, preferably in the automotive, tech, or lifestyle sectors
  • Proven track record in local market execution and brand building
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and demonstrating ROI
  • Familiarity performance metrics and KPI tracking and reporting
  • Strong stakeholder and agency management skills
  • Fluent in English, Dutch and/or French is a strong advantage
  • Proactive, hands-on, and highly collaborative working style
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into action
