About us Challenge Airlines (BE) S.A. is an airline based in Liege Airport (LGG) with a Belgian AOC. The airline operates daily scheduled cargo flights and charter services carrying nonstandard goods and general cargo internationally. Challenge Airlines (BE) is part of a Global airline group that carries approximately 400,000 tons of cargo annually. The Digital Cargo Compliance (DCC) Officer ensures our compliance with the World Customs Organization (WCO) regulations, instructions & security requirements, by utilizing artificial intelligence tools and various internal dedicated tools, for analyzing and screening flight data. The DCC Officer performs risk assessments on all cargo shipments, providing feedback and ensuring safe & secure cargo operations in compliance with international laws, rules, and regulations. This position monitors all cargo operations, bridges between operational & commercial planning teams, ensuring continuity of operations, resolving real-time issues and providing updated instructions in view of the regulatory requirements. Use a dedicated screening platforms for analyzing shipment data (e.g., Share feedback with relevant teams, escalate where needed and document decisions. ~ Compliance and Risk Ensure that all risk flagged shipments are resolved and in compliance with international and domestic trade requirements & regulations. Certification in trade compliance (e.g., Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), Export Compliance Professional (ECoP), or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory Experience in air freight logistics, trade compliance, or related fields (minimum 2 years) recommended. Effective prioritization and work management, complete with continuous learning & improvement mindset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) to provide clear feedback within the Network and stations. Knowledge of international trade regulations, embargoes, and denied/restricted party lists. Proficiency in using digital compliance or screening platforms (experience with ERP systems such as Priority is an advantage).
