Support Engineer


We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Support Engineer. You will play a key role in delivering end-user support, executing migration projects, and guiding users — including at C-level — through technology transitions. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team, taking responsibility for PC configuration, user workshops, and aftercare.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide daily system and end-user support in a professional and service-oriented manner.
  • Lead or support migration projects (e.g., Windows 10 to 11, Chrome to Edge, mail migrations, password manager implementation).
  • Prepare PCs and devices in advance of user workshops.
  • Guide end-users through migration processes during structured workshops using predefined playbooks.
  • Deliver post-migration support and issue resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with a broad range of users, including executive (C-level) stakeholders.
  • Adapt communication style to suit technical and non-technical users.
  • Promote user adoption during IT transitions and ensure smooth onboarding of new technologies.
  • Provide network support in WLAN and LAN environments.
  • Deliver support within Citrix and hybrid or outsourced IT environments.


Job requirements:


  • First experience as an IT Support Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments: Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Office 365 (including Teams telephony).
  • Experience with Active Directory (AD), Azure AD (AAD), Intune, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • Familiarity with PC rollout projects and end-user support during such deployments.
  • Solid understanding of migration project execution and end-user enablement.
  • Experience with Citrix environments is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to engage with all levels of the organization, from end-users to senior management.
  • Can work independently and proactively think along with the team and end-users.
  • Strong team player with a practical, hands-on approach.
  • Service-oriented mindset and attention to user experience.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, French is a nice to have.
  • Able to work at one of our clients in the area of Ghent.
