About CMSD

The
Center for Multilateral Strategy and Diplomacy (CMSD)
is a youth-led, non-partisan think tank dedicated to research, analysis, and strategic insights on international affairs, global governance, and multilateral cooperation. We aim to foster informed dialogue and provide evidence-based perspectives on issues shaping the international system, ranging from shifting geopolitical stances to emerging challenges in diplomacy, economics, and security.

CMSD combines research excellence with dynamic public engagement, reaching audiences through in-depth reports, policy briefs, and a strong digital presence across platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram.

The Role

We are seeking a
Social Media & Reels Content Creator (Internship)
to join our team remotely. This role is designed for an individual who combines a solid understanding of
international relations and geopolitics
with strong
video editing and content creation skills
.

The intern will support CMSD's social media strategy by transforming research insights, speeches, and global events into compelling reels and visual content. While prior familiarity with
European affairs
is an advantage, it is not mandatory—the role requires a broad outlook on
international relations as a whole
.

This position offers a unique experiential learning opportunity to blend academic knowledge with digital storytelling, enhancing both professional skills and subject expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with CMSD's design and social media teams to conceptualize and produce high-quality reels aligned with CMSD's themes.
  • Edit and repurpose speeches, interviews, and event footage into engaging short-form content.
  • Integrate visuals, images, and research highlights into impactful reels.
  • Monitor global developments in international relations and propose creative content ideas reflecting CMSD's focus.
  • Support overall digital strategy by ensuring content is timely, accurate, and aligned with CMSD's mission.

Requirements

  • Academic background (or strong demonstrated interest) in
    International Relations, Political Science, Diplomacy, or related fields
    .
  • Proficiency in
    video editing software
    (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).
  • Ability to edit speeches, merge visuals, and create compelling narratives through short-form video.
  • Creativity in presenting complex geopolitical issues in accessible and engaging ways.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Awareness of
    European affairs
    is a plus, but not required.
