EU Policy Analyst

The role of the EU Policy Analyst encompasses tracking, evaluating, and communicating key policy and regulatory developments internally and externally. Additionally, this position represents the company before EU audiences, including trade associations, shapes policy conversations, and supports the development and execution of effective advocacy strategies.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proactively monitor and track policy developments relevant to Cellnex at the EU level.
• Analyse and assess policy and regulation for relevance and impact on Cellnex, preparing information materials and communicating with internal stakeholders.
• Support the development of policy positions and work with the wider team to develop and maintain an effective engagement strategy with key stakeholders.
• Build and maintain a network of internal and external stakeholders.
• Actively participate in trade association meetings and working groups on behalf of Cellnex.
• Lead and support events ´organisation, and other activities as necessary.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Academic Profile:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, public policy, regulatory affairs, or a related discipline

Languages:

• English -> Must-have -> Advanced
• Any other Cellnex language -> Valuable -> Intermediate / Advanced

Software Tools:

• MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) -> Must-have -> Advanced

Relevant Experience:

• 5+ years of experience working in Brussels/EU Affairs in regulatory affairs, government relations, public policy, or a related function within Cellnex´s industry.
• Excellent understanding of EU legislative and regulatory processes, as well as key EU institutions and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements to business operations.
• Practical knowledge of the EU legislative process and involvement in EU policy advocacy efforts.
• Proactive and collaborative attitude is key, given the small team environment.
• Innovative and creative thinker.
• Excellent interpersonal, public speaking, and organisational skills.
• Self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects independently, and meet tight deadlines.
