Information Technology Support Technician


About the Company - The mission of Cellistic/ Ncardia Belgium is to understand human iPSC and developmental biology, and harness this knowledge to develop and manufacture iPSC therapeutics that significantly improve patient outcomes. About the Role - We are looking for an IT Support Technician. Thanks to your experience in Information Technology, you will be the ideal addition to the company and will have a key relationship role in dealing with end users. The position involves setting up, managing, maintaining and troubleshooting technology systems, software, computers, servers and networks. The company's activities are spread over two different sites: Leiden (NL) and Mont-Saint-Guibert (BE). The successful candidate will be based in Belgium and will report to the IT Director. Travels to The Netherlands is to be expected and will be less than 10% of the time.


Responsibilities


  • Resolve user issues, requests and tickets submitted through the helpdesk system (~140 users)
  • Install and configure desktop and laptop computers, networks and direct attached printers
  • Install and configure laboratory equipment (computer part) according to vendors specs and company standards
  • Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems and networks
  • In collaboration and coordination with the IT Service Provider(s):
  • Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot IT problems
  • Install and update company software and hardware as needed
  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, switches, network, and other enterprise equipment
  • Administrate user access to systems
  • Assist other IT Team members in the implementation of major system changes, network redesign and system integrations
  • Log and document activities and information using helpdesk software


Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor degree in IT, computer science or equivalent certifications
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years working experience in similar position
  • Experience in biotech or pharma industry is a plus

  • Anti-phishing campaigns, security trainings
  • Security incident: immediate potential damage interruption, root cause analysis
  • Excellent knowledge of business / enterprise Microsoft 365 products
  • Systems, document management, ticketing tools:
  • IT Asset Management systems
  • Zoho Desk (ticketing)
  • Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Box
