NVH Simulation Engineer

As an NVH Simulation Engineer, you will focus on virtual NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) analysis to optimize gear and system-level designs. Your simulation expertise will directly support the development of next-generation transmissions for our automotive clients.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Developing and maintaining comprehensive NVH simulation models for hybrid eDCT transmissions, focusing on gear whine, gear mesh excitation, rattle dynamics, torsional dynamics, and both structure-borne and airborne noise paths
• Performing detailed modal, harmonic, and forced response analyses at component, subsystem, and system levels to identify and mitigate NVH issues
• Correlating simulation results with test data from bench, rig, and vehicle tests to continuously improve model accuracy and predictive capabilities
• Supporting design optimization of critical components including gears, shafts, bearings, housings, and electric motors with specific NVH targets in mind
• Collaborating with suppliers on technical reviews and validation activities related to NVH performance requirements and specifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical field
• 2-3 years of experience in NVH CAE simulation within automotive driveline or powertrain development
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard CAE tools such as MASTA, Ansa, Abaqus, Nastran, and Excite M
• Solid understanding of vibration theory, acoustics fundamentals, and signal processing techniques
• Strong knowledge of transmission systems, gear design principles, bearing dynamics, and rotating machinery behavior
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment and communicate technical results clearly to diverse stakeholders
