Operations Manager (Asset Management Firm) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and streamline our administrative, human resources, and compliance functions across multiple jurisdictions. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage cross-functional operations while ensuring regulatory compliance in Hong Kong, BVI, and Cayman Islands. Key Responsibilities: Administration • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations and office management • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts • Optimize operational efficiency and cost management Human Resources • Manage end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding • Develop and maintain HR policies in compliance with local labor laws • Handle employee relations, performance management, and compensation planning • Coordinate training and professional development initiatives Compliance • Ensure regulatory compliance across Hong Kong (including SFC regulations), BVI, and Cayman Islands jurisdictions • Manage statutory filings, annual returns, and corporate registry requirements • Coordinate with legal counsel and corporate service providers • Maintain corporate records and ensure timely submissions to relevant authorities • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and implement necessary updates Requirements: • At least 5 years of relevant experience in operations management, with exposure to administration, HR, and compliance functions • Strong knowledge of Hong Kong employment regulations and corporate compliance requirements • Experience with BVI and Cayman Islands jurisdiction filings and regulatory frameworks • Excellent organizational and project management skills • Strong communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field • Professional certifications such as HKICS, SHRM, or equivalent are preferred but not required • Experience working in corporate services, legal, or financial services industries • Familiarity with corporate secretarial work and offshore structures Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries Financial Services
