Junior Site Superintendent – Buildings

Our client is a reputable construction contractor delivering building, renovation, and redevelopment projects across Belgium. Their portfolio includes residential, office, healthcare, educational, and mixed-use buildings. The company operates in both public and private sectors and is part of a larger multidisciplinary construction group with a century of experience and technical expertise.

As Junior Site Superintendent – Buildings, you will lead on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage site teams, and support the implementation of work plans while gaining exposure to technically complex building projects. This role provides a direct pathway to senior site leadership positions.

• Lead daily site operations in alignment with project plans
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal site teams
• Monitor project progress, schedule adherence, and budget compliance
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards (VCA, ISO)
• Assist with planning, logistics, and resource management
• Report site progress and flag potential risks or delays
• Support Lean planning sessions to improve workflow efficiency

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building construction or similar projects
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Hands-on mentality with the ability to motivate teams
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, structured, and results-driven approach

• French: professional working proficiency
• Dutch and/or English: strong asset
