As Project Manager you are expected to:
- Plan, organize, control, co-ordinate, lead and motivate to achieve optimal balance between cost, time, benefit and risk in marine geophysical projects
- Compose and direct the on- and offshore project team
- Liaise with the client and the project team on a regular basis
- Investigate alternative working methods to improve existing methods
- Draw up a budget plan in cooperation with the commercial department
- Control the project budget on a weekly basis and report to the accounting department and the PMO manager
- Report on the progress of the project to the PMO manager
- Approve subcontractors and suppliers
- Identify and organize any additional work under the agreed contract
- Prepare invoices, control debtors and act if necessary
- Take a leadership role in all QHSE matters to ensure the project is managed in a safe and efficient manner
- Liaise closely with the QHSE department and ensure the QHSE guidelines are followed
- You obtained a master degree in a survey related discipline
- You have 3 years of experience in survey project management
- You have experience with people and project management
- You possess technical knowledge regarding hydrographical and geophysical equipment
- Experience with QHSE knowledge is a plus
- Experience in the marine environment is a plus
