General Summary
The Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) is looking for a Credit & Collection Specialist to assist with the collection of outstanding invoices, and the credit review of new and existing customers. The role will be responsible for the customer ageing balance of a division and will act as single point of contact for its customers regarding their debts, payment dates/plans and disputes.

The credit collection specialist will lead the review and update calls with the stakeholders. This position is international with a focus on the EMEA region, especially the Middle East. This is a Hybrid role with a Brussels location.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be the first line of support for our customers regarding their open invoices, in particular:

  • Monitor the firm's accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts.

  • Contact customers and inform them of their overdue invoices (via e-mails & phone)
  • Negotiate suitable payment dates / plans with our customers
  • Answer customer queries (e-mails & phone)
  • Solve customer issues and complaints concerning billing
  • Register customer disputes & follow up with the relevant responsible departments
  • Update credit collection sheet (summary of collection efforts by client)

  • Ensure that the Center of Creative Leadership customer credit management processes are updated and continue to perform efficiently:

  • Ability to analyze the financial status of present and future customers

  • Ensuring that customers with late invoices are reviewed in a timely manner
  • Submit regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts and any repayment progress.
  • Implement review processes regarding non-paying customers in close collaboration with the sales teams
  • Raise awareness of the importance of Credit Management within the organization

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform Account Receivable tasks, such as matching customer payments with their invoices
  • Work closely together with all stakeholders to deliver lasting improvements to the contracting to collection process, and in particular managing the single point of contact for the Finance department regarding Collection & Credit management

Education And Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Collection / Credit Management environments. The ideal candidate has:

  • Experience in collection process

  • Previous experience in collections calls with the Middle East region
  • Experience in collections calls with government agencies/organizations
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel. Experience in MS D365 or any other ERP system

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent by experience

  • Languages: Fluency in English and Arabic, any other language is a plus
