Inventory and Planning Officer

To strengthen our Supply Chain Team, we are looking for a data-driven Supply Planner. In this role, you will move beyond simple order placement into tactical planning, ensuring that our supply chain is optimized using data to predict bottlenecks before they happen and creating the visibility needed to keep our service levels high. Key Responsibilities: Tactical Supply Management: Execute the end-to-end supply chain process from order to delivery. You will balance supply and demand over a tactical horizon to ensure material availability while optimizing inventory. MRP & Backlog Mastery: Proactively manage the SAP MRP Monitor. You will identify exception messages, resolve supply gaps, and take full ownership of the backlog, communicating late deliveries and recovery plans to Customer Service and Sales. KPIs & Data Analytics: Drive performance by tracking and analyzing daily OTD (On-Time Delivery), lead times, and vendor performance. Reporting & Dashboards: Design and maintain planning dashboards and reports to provide clear visibility into inventory health (O&E), supply risks, and service levels. Inventory Optimization: Maintain adequate stock levels based on inventory policy, ensuring a sharp focus on reducing obsolescence (O&E) during phase-in/phase-out projects. Continuous Improvement: Perform root-cause analysis on recurring supply issues, collaborating with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Product Management to implement long-term structural solutions. About you: Education: Master’s degree or equivalent through experience (Economics, Business Engineering, Supply Chain, etc.). Technical Expertise: SAP knowledge is a must, specifically regarding MRP monitor and material management modules. Strong proficiency in Excel (V-Lookups, Pivots) and a flair for Dashboard/Report creation (datastudio knowledge is a plus). Experience: Proven experience in Tactical Planning or Supply Planning. Mindset: Analytical, proactive, and customer-oriented. Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken). Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to navigate an international
