Client Engagement Manager

About the Role

As a Client Engagement Manager, you’ll be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with high-value clients, particularly IP law and agency firms across Europe. Acting as a strategic partner, you will drive engagement initiatives, support client satisfaction, and ensure service excellence that aligns with our clients' evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture long-term partnerships with law firms and IP agencies throughout Europe.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring consistent, proactive, and high-quality communication.
  • Develop tailored engagement plans to increase retention, satisfaction, and account growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations to identify growth opportunities.
  • Translate client needs and feedback into actionable insights to enhance service delivery.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues affecting client success and engagement.
  • Represent the company at industry events and in-person meetings (occasional travel across Europe, particularly Germany).


Requirements

  • Being fluent in German and English (both spoken and written) is a major benefit.
  • Proven experience in a client-facing B2B role, ideally within the legal or IP sector.
  • Strong understanding of the European legal market and law firm structures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior legal stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and self-driven.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe as required.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in or with IP law firms or agencies.
  • Background in legal services, legal tech, or IP consultancy.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and client success tools.
