Job Overview:

Due to our recent and ongoing growth, we are expanding our finance team. We are looking for a Junior Accountant who is eager to grow with us and play a key role in supporting the financial operations of a fast-paced, acquisition-driven business. As a Junior Accountant, you will work closely with the Senior Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations, integration of new acquisitions, and maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support month-end and year-end close processes across multiple subsidiaries
• Assist with posting journals, accruals, and prepayments
• Reconcile bank statements and key balance sheet accounts
• Help with the integration of new acquisitions into the group’s financial systems and processes
• Process invoices, payments, and expense claims
• Maintain accurate records for intercompany transactions
• Assist with VAT returns
• Provide financial data to support decision-making and reporting
• Support ad hoc projects and process improvements as the group continues to scale

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with accounting systems
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work across different legal and cultural environments (Belgium and the Netherlands).
• Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus)
