Head of Football Trading

BettingJobs is currently seeking a Head of Football for an established sports betting company.

The Head of Football will be responsible for developing the football product, with ownership of the trading strategy and product development. This is a unique opportunity to join a market-leading organisation in a senior role.

The Head of Football role would be well-suited to an experienced football trading manager with strong management skills and a track record of growing a football product in a high-volume sportsbook.

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of the football trading strategy.
• Defining, monitoring, and managing the KPIs for the football department.
• Working with the technical/software development teams to improve trading efficiency and automation.
• Delivery of a comprehensive and profitable football offering.

Skills & Experience

• A proven results-driven leader who is passionate about football.
• Significant sportsbook trading management and leadership experience, with a successful track record in growing a product.
• Numerate, with a strong mathematical background and a thorough understanding of bookmaking theory and sports betting.
• Deep understanding of betting modelling.
• Strong data and financial analytical skills combined with effective decision-making capability in order to use data to drive decisions and business direction.
• First-class interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships with peers and senior management.
