Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Consultant to join our team of specialists delivering high-quality ServiceNow solutions to diverse customers. You will play a key role in client workshops, solution design, implementation, mentoring, and customer enablement while ensuring best practices and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in and lead workshops to demonstrate ServiceNow capabilities, define current and desired states, and propose tailored solutions.
- Build client understanding of ServiceNow functionality through presentations, demonstrations, story definition, testing, and support for both sales and delivery functions.
- Mentor and train junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Produce high-quality documentation and training materials for implemented solutions, and deliver client training sessions.
- Act as a problem solver, examining and re-engineering processes, procedures, and practices to optimize outcomes.
Working Relationships
- Internal: Collaborate with solution consultants, project managers, architects, and technical consultants.
- External: Engage with client stakeholders including CTOs, architects, product owners, developers, IT staff, and ServiceNow support teams.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working with ServiceNow (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, GRC, SecOps, HRSD, or other modules).
- Proven experience consulting and delivering solutions for external customers.
- Knowledge of ITSM and agile frameworks such as DevOps, IT4IT, and ITIL.
Requirements
Skills and Qualities:
- Strong experience across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through design, testing, and go-live.
- Good understanding of Service Management concepts and delivery assurance principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present solutions to both technical and senior business audiences.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, meeting project deadlines.
- Proactive, creative, and adaptable, with a strong willingness to learn and embrace new challenges.
- Experience working with technical end-users in a service-oriented environment.
- Capable of managing multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; proficiency in another European language is an asset.
- Willingness to travel as needed (though not a core requirement of the role).
