We are looking for an Account Director to join the BeInfluence Belgium team in Brussels

As an Account Director, you will play a key role in BeInfluence's client relationship in Brussels. Your main mission will be to manage and retain a client portfolio, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while identifying upsell and growth opportunities. 

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

Reporting to the Head of Growth & Accounts and the Team Lead Growth & Account,

Your main mission will be to manage and develop your client portfolio (advertisers and agencies).

  • Client strategies & development: You are capable of building strong strategic recommendations around influencer marketing, social media, and creative content, in collaboration with internal teams (creative strategists, growth, experiential marketing, PR, social media, etc.). You understand the importance of creativity, content relevance, and business performance for successful campaigns. You are able to support teams in defining the approaches best suited to client objectives and ensure consistency between strategy, creative, and execution.

  • Negotiation, contracting, and client relationship management: you will be responsible for leading strategic and creative recommendations, commercial negotiations, and contractual agreements with clients in your portfolio. You will then ensure the operational and strategic management of the portfolio, guaranteeing satisfaction and long-term loyalty.

  • Performance monitoring: You will work closely with the project management teams to ensure that campaigns are successfully executed and meet client expectations. You will maintain an overall view of campaign performance and ensure that business objectives are met.

  • Long-term relationship & growth: You develop a strong, trust-based relationship with clients to become their preferred partner for all their influencer and social media campaigns. You actively identify new upsell, cross-sell, and diversification opportunities to increase the value and growth of existing accounts.

Your ideal profile:

  • Expertise in customer strategy & social media: you have an excellent understanding of the challenges of influence and social media and you are convinced of the importance of creativity to generate impactful results.

  • Interpersonal skills & entrepreneurial spirit: You have excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build trusting relationships and manage long-term partnerships. You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, are self-reliant, and capable of seizing business opportunities.

  • Negotiation skills: you know how to negotiate contracts and maximize opportunities while ensuring optimal customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Results-oriented: performance-driven, you know how to manage complex accounts and support demanding clients with high standards.

You have at least 3 years of experience as an Account Director in an influence/social media/creative/media agency, or as a senior brand manager/account manager in a large group.

  • You have full professional proficiency in English and are native Dutch. Mastering French on top is a plus
