A kitchen does not run on fire and knives alone, but on people. We are looking for a Head Chef who values trust, respect and honesty and at the same time sets the bar high for quality and innovation.
Within our Manifood Group we bring together two unique concepts in Leuven: Baracca, known for its modern sharing experience, and PepeNero, a warm and vibrant comfort food restaurant.

• Lead the kitchen and the team in a positive and inspiring way
• Guard the quality, taste and presentation of our dishes
• Work hands on in the kitchen and set the right example
• Make sure the kitchen runs efficiently and in a structured way, supported by the right tools and an organized approach
• Take an active role in guiding renewal, change and growth in the right direction

Who are you

• You have experience in a similar position
• You are a natural leader who brings out the best in people
• A passion for food is at the heart of who you are from classics to modern twists
• You speak fluent English & Dutch. French or a bit of Italian is a plus
• You have a valid EU passport and or work permit
• You are flexible, stress resistant and mostly available for evening service
