About the Role

As Product Development Manager (PDM), you will drive the full lifecycle of new and existing products, from concept and engineering validation to industrialization and launch.

You will lead development primarily for Bambaw (durable hard goods) and contribute to our sister brands ORAVIX (oral care) and Arista Ayurveda (clean cosmetics).

This role blends engineering, supplier management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure each product meets design intent, manufacturing quality, cost, and sustainability targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive product lifecycle management from market research and product conceptualization through to successful market launch and continuous product improvement.
• Collaborate closely with brand coordinators, sourcing agents, suppliers, compliance experts, and external partners to ensure seamless product launches and updates.
• Ensure strict adherence to sustainability standards and health-safety guidelines for every product.
• Document specifications and processes for repeatable, scalable product development.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, efficient communication, and timely delivery of high-quality products.

At the end of the first year, success would mean having successfully launched and improved multiple new products, achieved timely product launches aligned with compliance standards, improved customer satisfaction scores, reduced coordination-related delays, and effectively collaborated with strategic manufacturing and sourcing partners.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years’ experience in product development or engineering for physical consumer goods (hard goods preferred).
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in FMCG or consumer goods

Skills

• Strong understanding and practical knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes for consumer goods.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communicator with fluency in English (French is a plus).
