What You’ll Do
As an Insurance Data Analyst, you will play a key role in helping the team understand the data and transform it into actionable insights. You’ll work with cross-functional teams, apply statistical methods, and use visualization tools to communicate your findings to stakeholders at all levels.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Preparation:
- Gather and clean data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets) to ensure accuracy and usability.
Analysis & Insight Generation:
- Use statistical techniques to explore and interpret data, identifying patterns, trends, and correlations.
Visualization & Reporting:
- Build compelling dashboards and visual reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Present findings in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strategic Collaboration:
- Work with internal teams to understand business needs and deliver data-backed solutions that drive performance and growth.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current on new technologies and trends in data analytics and bring innovative thinking to the team.
What You Bring
- Proficiency in SQL and data querying techniques
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis
- Strong skills in data visualization and reporting tools
- Solid understanding of statistics, data modelling, and data warehousing concepts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Independent, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus
- Fluency in Dutch or French, with good command of English
