What You’ll Do

As an Insurance Data Analyst, you will play a key role in helping the team understand the data and transform it into actionable insights. You’ll work with cross-functional teams, apply statistical methods, and use visualization tools to communicate your findings to stakeholders at all levels.


Your Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Preparation:

  • Gather and clean data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets) to ensure accuracy and usability.

Analysis & Insight Generation:

  • Use statistical techniques to explore and interpret data, identifying patterns, trends, and correlations.

Visualization & Reporting:

  • Build compelling dashboards and visual reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Present findings in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strategic Collaboration:

  • Work with internal teams to understand business needs and deliver data-backed solutions that drive performance and growth.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay current on new technologies and trends in data analytics and bring innovative thinking to the team.


What You Bring

  • Proficiency in SQL and data querying techniques
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis
  • Strong skills in data visualization and reporting tools
  • Solid understanding of statistics, data modelling, and data warehousing concepts
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus
  • Fluency in Dutch or French, with good command of English
