Senior Sales Manager – Belgium

Role Overview

You will report directly to the Belgian Country Manager and be responsible for sales activities in Belgium related to our flexibility portfolio and Trading-as-a-Service offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales activities within your assigned market.
  • Identify and acquire new customers, with a focus on investors in BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), biogas, CHP plant operators, and project developers.
  • Conduct contract negotiations independently and conclude partnerships based on performance data from the existing portfolio.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with operators, investors, and local market participants.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade fairs.
  • Monitor market developments, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to support strategic decisions.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong presence and ability to engage with senior decision-makers.
  • Clear and structured communication style, with the ability to present technical information effectively.
  • At least 7 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within the Belgian energy sector (trading, storage, or generation).
  • Established network and solid knowledge of the Belgian energy market.
  • Ability to lead discussions related to power plants, storage technologies, and trading concepts.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with regular client meetings.
  • Native or fluent French or Dutch, plus strong English for internal communication.
