Description

  • You provide administrative support within the purchasing department to ensure efficient operations;
  • You rigorously track the purchasing workflow and ensure that purchase orders are generated and submitted on time;
  • You assist internal customers and suppliers with inquiries related to purchase orders through SAP and the Ariba network;
  • You create, modify, and adjust purchase orders in SAP across various purchasing groups as needed;
  • You manage the creation and oversight of contracts in SAP to ensure compliance and accuracy;
  • You monitor functional mailboxes to streamline communications and address requests promptly;
  • You engage in process improvement initiatives and collaborate with the Excellence team to enhance operational efficiency.

Profile

  • Native French or Dutch speaker, possesses good command of the other national language, and demonstrates excellent English language skills;
  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in a technical or administrative discipline, or has comparable professional experience;
  • Possesses medior-level experience or demonstrates a keen interest in logistics or procurement processes;
  • Has a strong working proficiency in SAP MM as well as Microsoft Office applications;
  • Familiarity with SAP Ariba is considered an advantage;
  • Exhibits solid analytical and organizational abilities;
  • Can effectively foster relationships with internal stakeholders;
  • Is proactive and communicates effortlessly;
  • Has a comprehensive understanding of the procurement process;
  • Functions well in a team-oriented environment and is ready to support colleagues as required;
  • Is self-sufficient while also showing a strong desire to enhance skills and knowledge;
  • Identifies areas for improvement in everyday operations and collaborates with process owners to develop business cases for these enhancements.
